A man / child who somehow made it into the white house, into the most powerful leadership position in the world, who somehow failed to master the first and most basic lesson of leadership: Take responsibility! Sure, politicians who are trying to cover up stuff tend to deny responsibility, but this guy Trump, it seems, has denied responsibility for virtually everything he has done. Of course, he'll take credit for the good stuff - and even falsely, if others were responsible for it.

You might say that Trump has developed slipping out of taking responsibility for anything into a fine art. At least it has worked out very well for him so far, and you could argue that it has made him the artful demagogue he is. The noose is gradually tightening around Trump's neck, but let's just hope that he winds up behind bars and unable to run again when the 2024 presidential campaign season rolls around.

Initially I imagined that if anyone submitted what had happened in this country - an offensive clueless game show host receiving the nomination of a major party over those with actual experience in government service - as a movie or TV script, it would be rejected as too silly and unbelievable. But then he was actually installed as POTUS despite receiving far fewer votes! And then there were the shenanigans he pulled while in office, while leaving the actual responsibilities of the job to unqualified and unelected others! And all this was followed by the expected solid defeat at the polls - but instead of moving on - like Carter, Clinton and Obama, in continued service to the country - he refused to accept his definitive defeat and was still claiming he would soon be reinstated as long as a year later! If this wasn't documented as a part of our history, who would believe it??
