(8,387 posts)How odd for one who has DESTROYED one's own career.
These dumb headlines are so tiresome.

(487 posts)Democratic Senator doesn't seem to be her calling post 2024. I think people need to stop wondering what her intentions are, and why she won't get on board with the administration. Clearly, she has a team she's playing for, and it isn't the Democrats.

I do comment on hyperbolic clickbaity inducements to view them.
I also occasionally comment on the practice, by some, of using DU as a clickfarm by persons having an interest in internet traffic monetization.
For more information about me, my preferences, and posting habits, I suggest you start a thread about me, and I will be happy to answer all of your questions about me, since I am apparently a fascinating topic of conversation.
Alternatively, you could simply post the "most disgusting comment possible" instead of teasing it in a link to an eight minute video. That would be the action of someone seeking to inform others, in contrast to the action of someone looking for clicks.

(9,729 posts)This one from CNN has nothing at all about Senator Sinema in it. It's all about Stephanie Grisham's new book.

(8,387 posts)The point is that you click on the video.
I believe that the click still counts, even if you don't watch the entire video.
Clickbait doesn't work if someone is just going to tell you whatever it was that DESTROYED, EVISCERATED and OBLITERATED her career. Then, you won't click on the video and the YouTube channel doesn't get the marginal revenue.
And, by the way, whatever you do, DO NOT EAT the vegetable that doctors are BEGGING their patients not to eat!

(34,195 posts)Too many times over the years I have watched videos on DU only to find out they are a waste of my time.
As for clicking on a YouTube video so someone gets credit for posting it,
NO
'Clickbait' should not be allowed on DU.
Save your response. I'm 'Trashing' this thread.

(7,263 posts)Just like another former politician.
Sigh.
Every time over the last 20 years the Democratic Party looks like they may finally get something major done to reduce income disparity and really truly help the working class, we find another lieberman clone in the party.
Time for progressives to once again try and put their shoulders to the boulder and roll it back uphill.
We will never quit.
