I know I got numerous vaccines growing up, including twice while I was right in school. Lots of kids did. I remember waiting in the nurse's office with other kids and can remember panicking and running back to my classroom when the friend who I went with passed out after getting her shot.

And when my friend returned to college a few years back, she was required to get the MMR vaccine before she could attend classes. No one made a fuss or objected, that's just what you did.
