Then Republicans will squawk about "states' rights" to keep doing it.
If they openly had lynchings, they'd try to argue it was within their rights under some state bill called "They Needed Killin".

He did it each and every day - including both before and after his term - and since their "leader" got away with it, his enablers and supporters look on this as "permission." That's why it's so important that the January 6th Committee acts now.

When we place today's republicans under some trumpian spell we ignore trump is just the result of a cancer that's been festering. Are we really ignoring the Tea Party?
