Top Authentic Food in San Francisco Chinatown (Original Post)

was right down the street from Chinatown. I have frequented a couple of these. One place she walks by is a bakery that had the best sticky rice. It was just like my grandmothers. I am Chinese.

But I still remember how delicious that one meal was that my mom and I had at this (admittedly not not the cleanest) hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. It was the closest thing to a home-cooked meal at my grandparents' I have ever had in the United States.
This was years ago, and I wish I could remember the name of this place.
