And our long time allies are awfully glad to see him! 
And putin is having a sad...
But, like I've mentioned, I visited the USSR just before it fell with my grandmother's peace group. There was so much hope under Gorbachev, with his policies of Glasnost and Perestroika, openness and economic restructuring. I feel for the Russian people under Putin - ex-KGB - who obviously has returned to the Soviet polices of repression.
