Yes, it is already way past time. Inherent Contempt authority is perfectly legal, and though it has not been used since the 1920s, its up to the House of it wants to use it again,

(13,571 posts)Congress should not have to ask a wholly different branch of government to enforce their subpoenas. Congress is co-equal to Executive Branch, where DoJ resides.

Really, though, I believe the state of Georgia will do us all a favor again and indict the Trump gang on RICO charges for trying to intimidate Georgia election officials to commit election fraud. Thats a charge thatll stick.
And also, the whole fraud whine was a scam, raking in millions for the Grifter-in-Chief. He never misses a chance to fleece his followers.
