He appeared in Albany as part of his nationwide tour! As you'd expect, he was spot on with his political jokes and was very, very funny! He talked quite a bit about his Senate experiences, did a great impersonation of McConnell, but his main target was Ted Cruz!

I'm okay with it. Ted deserves it all.

I'm glad that you were able to get out for some entertainment. I've been feeling slightly ill with a bit of nausea since Saturday. I finally ate some solid food tonight, but I hardly ate anything on Sunday.

We arrived early to find parking and the right place, hoped to get something to eat beforehand, but because it was a weekend, everything was closed! So all we could do was wander, not something I'm used to these days - the only time I've left town since the pandemic has been to take my dog to the vet or myself to the dentist. But it was definitely worth it, he spoke for about 2 hours to a sold out crowd who "got" all his jokes and references.

One story he told was that whenever his committee was waiting, which happened often, Diane Feinstein would ask him to tell a joke. He said he eventually ran out of standard jokes and finally told one which was off color. Neither Diane Feinstein or Chuck Schumer got it, so Claire McCaskill had to explain it to the others...

Hope you're feeling better soon...
