A new report has revealed that the ongoing COVID pandemic is far worse in counties that voted for Donald Trump than the counties that voted for Biden. In fact, the infection rate in Trump counties is actually THREE TIMES higher than those who voted for Biden. This isn't surprising considering the increasingly political polarization surrounding the pandemic, and these red counties are the ones ignoring most of the protocols and concurrent medical opinions. Trump voters are potentially getting infected at 5 times the rate as democrats. Potentially, the fatality rate is similar. I struggle with thoughts on this statistic.
