Bill Maher Explodes At Conservatives Over Romney’s Libya Criticism: Your Attitude Is ‘F**k Facts’

VIDEO here: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/bill-maher-explodes-during-panel-on-romneys-libya-criticism-your-attitude-is-fk-facts/

On Friday, Bill Maher‘s panel — consisting of the National Review’s John Fund, Daily Caller contributor Boris Epshteyn and MSNBC contributor Goldie Taylor — took on the White House response to the Libya attack, and Mitt Romney‘s subsequent line of attack during the second debate. Why, Maher pleaded, can’t you just admit Romney was wrong? -snip-

They yap and yap and yap over any speaker just to drown out any information that's counter to their bubble. They will never, ever admit they or their candidate was wrong about anything.

And this, alone, would make them unfit for office or news broadcasts. Or much of anything.

But of course there is so much more that disqualifies them.

John Fund and Boris Epshteyn were the most insufferable loudmouthed "grown men" I've ever seen in this kind of format. Period. I really think they were using the Gish Gallop method of debating, because every time that Bill or Goldie would say something that challenged them on the facts, they used it so that you couldn't hear B or G speak again. It was kind of weird, though, because sometimes the both of them talked at the same time, effectively talking over each other. The end result is they often cancelled each other out, which also made it difficult for the listener to really hear or make sense of it. Maybe that's their game and since they were both spewing misinformation or outright lies, they somehow thought they could get away with it.

A really frustrating and bizarre show. I felt sorry for Goldie, whom I really like after seeing her as a panelist on MSNBC shows. They literally wouldn't let her talk - making it 2 against 1 (and also 2 white men against 1 black woman) and giving the viewer the very accurate perception that they were bullying her.

How the hell do we have such a lousy system of media here that such people are even allowed that much air time? They are very rude CONVERSATION PIGS. That's why I'm guessing that one (Epshteyn) or both of them were using Gish Gallop - the tactic that doesn't follow the conventional rules of civilized debate. It was like an unfair food fight and putting those 2 men together was a HUGE mistake, but was probably highly advantageous for them. I already knew that John Fund was a political thug, and the other one acted like one too.

The guests at the beginning and end of the program were EXCELLENT - some of the best I've ever seen on Real Time. I could have listened to them for the whole hour. Matt Taibbi was short-changed, though, because of how long the exchange took in the middle. He was really just getting going when it was time for New Rules. BTW, it was good - especially the end.

It looks like next week's show is going to be REALLY good, judging by the guest line-up (wish I had written down the names!)

dough blobs trying to shout down anything they don't like.

Honestly, he's getting unwatchable and the reason is that he's got too many conservatives on his show.

One conservative might be fun as a chew toy. More than one is a mob. Always.

It really showcased how delusional and horrible the righties are. When veteran Goldie Taylor asked the two if they'd worn a uniform, BOOM! And I loved Bill telling them to their faces that they fucking nuts. Matt Taibbi also did a good job of smacking them down. Yes, it was loud and often out of control, but still some good stuff.

Also, Hirshfeld's discussion about GMO's and Prop 37 was very good.

The 2 pigs might have been annoying but Bill stood up to them and Taibbi was great with his "Well they are pricks!" retort to the pigs trying to guilt trip Taibbi for name calling in his article. It was not the most stimulating discussion on Maher's show but it was pretty animated and entertaining.

Loved the veteran comment and the check-cashing place and id policy comment. She showed how they are all bluster and out of touch. She was awesome!

I fell in love with Goldie. I loved how she would not let the Repugs get the last word. Not one lie went unchallenged. Sometimes as host it is difficult for Bill to step in. Goldie took over that job and was brilliant. I think I've seen her on MSNBC before but after her appearance last night, I demand she have her own show.Maybe they could give her Chris's 7:00pm Hardball slot. I love her!

Good lord, the creepy guy in the middle on the panel kept moving the goalposts every time he was proved entirely full of shit. He's the Mayor of The Bubble.

This clip was maddening; I haven't yet watched the whole thing on DVR. I'll make sure to have a cocktail on board when I sit down to watch this so I don't tear my hair out.
