Bill Mahers panel took on the voter fraud issue Friday night pitting Maher and MSNBC contributor Goldie Taylor against the National Reviews John Fund and Daily Caller contributor Boris Epshteyn. While the former pair argued voter fraud isnt a commonly occurring issue, the latter countered that we dont know if we dont seek to police it. -snip-

...the only possible use is to prevent voter impersonation at the polls, which is truly a rare event. However, election fraud by absentee ballot and voter registration form destruction is common. A Republican voter registration fraud scandal over collecting and destroying Democratic voter registration is currently brewing, vastly overshadowing the minor false registrations collected by ACORN that led to that organization's downfall.

Voting machines should work more like an ATM.
Vote for the folks, push the 'DONE' button, and then get a printed out receipt showing who you voted for - and a duplicate paper copy that stays with the machine.
Even better, outlaw electronic machines and have everyone do mail-in paper ballots.
