Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) fired back at Republicans for spreading racist rhetoric, while CNN's John King says that anyone who thinks House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is bringing people together by tolerating hateful speech is wrong.

a lightbulb will go off and we'll realize a lot of folks are truly frightened by people who don't look or think like them.

With the advent of Trump, the filters have come off. We should probably come to therealization that a lot of the "progress" we've made in America was due to people not feeling comfortable expressing how they truly felt.
