Ethan Crumbley's Parents Charged w/Manslaughter for Recklessly Enabling Son in High School Shooting
James and Jennifer Crumbley gave their troubled, volatile, 15-year-old son a 9 mm pistol as an "early Christmas gift." Their son, Ethan Crumbley, promptly used the weapon to kill 4 high school classmates and injure seven others. Michigan prosecutor Karen Davis has charged the parents with four counts of involuntary manslaughter for their reckless conduct that was reasonably likely to result in death or serious bodily injury to others.
