Either these texts were meant as cover in case the insurrection failed, or the people mentioned were, in fact, not directly involved. That doesn't mean there wasn't a whole lot of other asshole traitors on the inside that were.

Jan. 6. So when Gym Jordan *gallantly* tried to assist the little ladies (Liz Cheney) she told him to fuck off, "he did this." So sure, his PR firm at FOX knew it was a bad look. Antifa and BLM had not shown up, the National Guard was supposed to protect Trump supporters according to Meadows. There was no counter protest to hide behind. His people went ape shit as planned, all dressed up and no heads to bash, so off to Congress they went.

It's almost like Charlottesville, Seattle, Oakland, Waukesha, Lafayette Park, and Portland were training runs.

it also provides TFG with an excuse to say Meadows never passed down the messages by Jr or the Fox News Stars to him - so he didn't know the nature of the attack on the Capitol and it wasn't until he ultimately heard about it that he made his statement to the insurectionists to stand down. He would have acted sooner if Meadows told him sooner.

I think Meadows is going to be made the fall guy for this.
