Back in 2008, I was actually in his studio audience - great seats, fifth row in front of his desk. And he's not only funny, but he couldn't have been nicer or more accessible. He came out before the show and took audience questions - along with Paul. And after the show, he made it a point to come out to thank everyone for coming - even after after 30 years.
