We’re witnessing global warming catastrophes before our eyes. All that’s left to do is delay or mitigate. We’ve reached the tipping point. We are leaving our children and grandchildren a dystopian hell scape. We are witnessing extreme weather event after extreme weather event. Our children will witness famine and war. Our grandchildren may have to kill other humans for their food.

The scenario you envision is one the young are already moving to prevent, with or without our involvement.

They know Earth dynamics are not straight timeline events but cascade and fall into random overlaps, so that widespread wildfires can be happening the same time as miles high tsunamis and pandemics, etc., etc.

As for tipping points, we've only reached two of nine existing global tipping points. But that doesn't mean the rest will be predictable.

Because none of this has happened before in human history.
