Emergency room doctors, Jeff Pothof of Wisconsin, Angela Chen of New York, Morgan Eutermoser of Colorado, and Joseph Maron of Texas, joined Yasmin Vossoughian to reflect on the past year treating coronavirus patients as 2021 ends. Chen, who diagnosed the first confirmed Covid-19 case in New York City, says the latest surge in infections is "disheartening" for healthcare workers. "We need to make this nonpolitical," Maron urges of vaccination. Aired on 12/31/2021.

1. We're going on year three of corona. Unvaccinated are free to choose to be unvaccinated, I guess,

but they’re not free to undermine the entire medical system. Idk what the answer is. Why do all hospitals need to be admitting Covid patients leaving no room left for other kinds of care? Maybe they need to create hospitals that are for only specific conditions. So people with other medical conditions other than Covid don’t have to die because an unvaccinated Covid patient, who doesn’t even believe there is such a thing as Covid even when they succumb to it, are taking up all the hospital beds. Better yet, why don’t all the trumps, bow tie guy, etc. build hospitals where they can administer farm animal medications to their followers. Give them what they want. They would make a killing.
