... he was "very worried" that the plan might look too violent to the public. If screaming Trump-supporters killed someone in front of a CNN camera - even a liberal - many would turn on the MAGA movement. This threatened Hannity's considerable wealth and status. He wanted a less messy take-over for his friend and ally.

It was a worry also perhaps that it would fail, and there'd be too much blowback for the even the GOP to take on. And they would abandon his dear Fuerer.
