Pence graduated law school, passed the bar exam, and practiced law before embarking on a political career.

Navarro is being both ignorant and arrogant by claiming Pence was incapable of understanding their electoral vote de-certification strategy.

It may very well be that whatever remained of Pence's lawyerly ethics training is finally what prevailed in his conscience. His sense of civic responsibility certainly took one hell of a beating by these coup plotters.
