Whether Putin will choose to launch a war for the first time since WWII - a war in which the Russian people suffered horribly, fought on their own land. And why there were active peace groups - and the group I belonged to at my grandmother's invitation met up with them when we visited the USSR in the late '80s.

I agree. Still holding the vision that his troops will turn on him, as unlikely as that might be.

He likely knows major announcements are coming about his puppet & ties between them.

We insisted on free and fair elections for self-determination, the USSR ran fake elections and installed puppet governments. The only thing that's changed here is we're winning with NATO alliances throughout the region, and USSR elites have become Russian capitalist oligarchs.

I am of the camp that thinks this is a bigger f'n deal than most Americans seem to think. We defeated the Soviets, we will defeat the oligarchy. Putin is late to thwart NATO and risks ensnaring himself in his own trap. Thank God Joe Biden is a patriotic American president with the experience to know what's going on!
