A good discussion this morning about the political and economic benefits at hand if President Biden honors his promises of student debt relief for 45,000,000 Americans. The demands by two ex-occupy organizers and the groups they work on behalf of is for total cancellation of the debt. Their arguments, both legal and moral, are strong. The argument which always grabs me the most concerns our willingness to throw a trillion here and a trillion there at the military which largely benefits the MIC while education is left with hat in hand.
