4. Ambassador McFaul is reporting live on what he has learned

He said that Putin has been attacking military targets and three major cities. General Barry McCaffrey reporting now on what we may expect, live footage of downtown Kiev which is usually busy at this hour, almost deserted. He expects that this could be over in 90 days.

6. The invasion has begun, the cities are being evacuated, schools are closed and hospitals are on alert

The live shot is of downtown Kiev which is usually very busy at this hour - there is very little traffic and sirens keep going off. Ali Velshi has been reporting, including getting updates from reporters on the scene.

8. I know! Same here! It really is surreal, watching the start of a war happening live

And just yesterday this was a busy city with residents going about their business, today they are under attack by the Russians - who apparently did not learn the lessons of Afghanistan, let alone WWII. And we keep hearing from "experts" about what's likely to happen and there's apparently no way to stop it...
