10. We do have vast oceans and an 8-11 hour

time distance between us … and have always been geographically remote and isolated from Europe generally. And have never had the civilian war casualties that European countries have experienced in their histories. That has to account for some of that I would think.

Sometimes the word "protester" is used too facilely to sound like the person is just against something.
