Marjorie Taylor Greene Defends Her Decision To Speak At White Nationalist Event - Ring of Fire

Over the weekend, Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene decided to speak at an event that was crawling with white nationalists - both on the stage and in the crowd. After she was confronted with this evidence (after she spoke) she defended her decision saying that it was a big audience that she is worried about. She also claimed she had no clue who these people were, despite numerous pictures of herself with these people. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

She reminds me of every single cheerleader bully with a Klanner daddy who made my high school years miserable, especially after my ugly ducklung self turned into a swan. She's a "type" I really haven't seen outside the south, although I've seen raving assholes every place I have ever lived. It's one the nastily ignorant Boebert aspires to but will never achieve, not even with a vat of peroxide and six inch lifts in her shoes. She'll just never manage to achieve that enormous degree of smug superiority the MTG types always manage to pull off, even when they're sitting up to their necks in shit and trying to convince themselves it's ice cream.

MTG is conventionally "purty," especially to men who don't think about anything but superficial appearance. It's that smugness that makes her ugly.
