3. Russians are keeping banker's hours

Not much was happening in the city during the weekend or all night last night, save some drunks arguing with the cops over the curfew. The drunks lost.

Sirens started a few minutes ago, 8:30 their time, lots of distant explosions. Perhaps that big convoy north of the city is getting clobbered this time. City center is still pretty quiet unless you count the national anthem over loudspeaker an hour and a half ago.

I wish Putin's inner circle would blow a little scopalamine powder in his direction, get him to reconsider the whole thing. He's not going to win this one long term and the rest of us don't want to chance being dragged into it until he cries uncle.

Explosions are getting more numerous, somebody's catching hell, probably the poor lied to bastards on the Russian side.
