I don't see how that headline is accurate.

He only says that through history, there has been one military mistake after another.

That's easy to understand. Nothing new there.

I posted this video because the perspective made in this video is sorely lacking in DU discussion about the current situation in Ukraine. Nobody is defending Putin here, and US measures against the invasion are appropriate, but how does it not parallel the US invasion of Iraq or Libya? Why is no one outraged and weeping over the crisis in Yemen, which our foreign policy continues to support? Maybe there needs to be a little more awareness about the realities of war and our own National culpability, and a little less sentimentality and self-congratulations over our own exquisite sensibilities and righteousness.

I agree that the headline is hyperbolic, but that’s the YouTube headline, and the nature of contemporary media.
