He is doing this on purpose so that he does not have to answer the actual question. He leads the questioner down a rabbit path.

We need to stop giving him an excuse such as dementia, mental illness, alzheimer's, or anything else that he could use as a legal defense.

He just can't come up with an answer that doesn't incriminate himself so he veers off into crazy talk. It sure would be interesting to know exactly what he and Putin actually talked about when it came to Ukraine. Trump must have been Putin's wet dream when it came to having a useful idiot, and right in the White House too.

He has the rhythm and prosody of English well mastered. Especially if you don't actually notice when he's started answering a question that wasn't asked. But reading a transcript makes his shaky grasp on reality incredibly obvious.

The GOP should be disbanded and tossed into the trash heap of history. The fact that they put this idiot forward as the leader of their party and the country clearly shows the GOP does not have the best interest of the country as their #1 priority as the Oath they take says. They are party 1st, Country last and that should be an automatic disqualifier.

Not to mention the fact the last time they were in charge they sat back and let this idiot lie about a deadly virus and do all he could to stop or slow down any response to contain it resulting in almost 1 million (989,473 per World of Meters) dead Americans.

The GOP over the last 20 yrs has wrought one tragedy after another on the USA. Enough already they need to be stopped.

His playbook is right out of Hitler's "Mein Kampf" where the dictator posited that the weak minds of the masses are easily swayed by "big lies". Hitler proposed that since most people had told "little lies" at one time or another, those untruths are easily identified and discarded. "Big lies" however do not pass through the filter of critical thinking (a skill rare among the masses), and are easily absorbed as truth if they confirm the biases of the listener.

Sadly, it works EVERY TIME!

We drive by them often. No dead birds. No cancer. They do keep building more… However, the electric co. Continually are repair and replacing. It’s actually their “job” to do so. Does Trump have any idea what people do for their “jobs”?

Anyway we can see at least 100 of them across the lake.

suffering. For years he's opposed windmills off the coast of New York and New Jersey, not because he's worried about birds, but because he believes they will ruin the views from his beachfront properties, and lessen their value. Trump's head must be exploding right about now.

The Biden administration just announced "a record-breaking wind lease sale off the coast of New York and New Jersey that is expected to generate up to 7-gigawatts of clean energy, enough to power 2 million homes, according to the Department of the Interior. The department will oversee six different lease areas that cover nearly 500,000 acres along the New York-New Jersey coastline."

Up to 8th-9th grade from his usual 5th-6th grade level of thinking. His language skills are still stuck around 5th grade though.

Why?

Because one of the few good things to come out of this war will likely be a dramatic acceleration away from fossil fuels towards renewable energy sources.

Someone in his inner circle/RW news channels probably brought this up, and the word salad that emerged from Trump’s mouth was his addled brain trying to interpret and articulate it.

Nevertheless, after 5 years, I guess I am able to translate from Trumpese, and see the thread of logic in response to the question “what’s next, how does this end?”

it's freaking obvious, why do we keep giving him cover?
