The House Freedom Caucus is planning on elevating the status, via Committee assignments, of both Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert if they win back the House in the midterms. This would be devastating for America, as both of these members have proven that they don't have the capacity to actually get laws passed - and they lack any ambition other than making themselves famous. our slow-to-moderate disintegration will transition to a fast collapse before you can say "the fall of Rome". A fair amount of them want to crash the system and end the world to bring Jesus back. The lack of actual governance is intentional on their part and the Dems are basically running around trying to patch the holes the Repugs are creating.
