I can't say for sure if he's serious or just trolling, because with him it could really go either way. I'm hesitant to respond directly about it because I don't want to give the old man "lulz" because I take it his bait, but at the same time I feel like I should intervene just in case he's actually going down the rabbit hole of no return.
