ever since i found out that some people dont have an internal dialogue, i've wondered how that worked.

People who are seeing their kids do worse than they did are looking for simple answers and simple solutions. Fascists are only too willing to supply them and the next TFG is already out there.

He might be a jumped up bureaucrat like Putin (or Xi) or he might be another reality TV or even a TikTok "star." He's out there. Bet on it.

5. not going to happen in my lifetime

Misogyny is far too deeply ingrained in this country.

Even I didn't realize how horrific it is until I saw what they did to Hillary Clinton.

Now give us a few decades of deconversion away from fundagelicalism, we might see one of those pop up.

The danger just isn't an immediate one, thus my use of the masculine pronoun. While the fundagelicals remain fascism's biggest and most reliable voting bloc, it will not be a woman.
