Ex-US ambassador: This move suggests Putin is desperate (CNN)

Former US ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor reacts to reporting from two US officials that Russia has turned to China for military and economic help with the invasion of Ukraine. Both the Chinese and Russian governments publicly denied that the request happened.

and while Xi Beijing is no doubt hoping to pick the bones of the Yanks and Russkies, both of whom are China's "frenemies" at BEST, I would hope he is NOT stupid enough to walk in to this trap.
