that was the handler of the RAF (Red Army Faction aka the Baader–Meinhof Gang), a terrorist organization in West Germany from the early eighties until they essentially disbanded at the end of the Cold War.

Putin was awarded two service medals in this time period.

He will think nothing of killing every person in Ukraine if that is what it takes to win.
