Will be on new ways to deter russia.

Also the vice minister of Poland in today’s meeting with President Zelensky offered an armed peacekeeping mission of NATO to bring humanitarian aid and would be protected by relevant forces...armed forces. Poland certainly has a lot to lose!

As for Poland, my maternal grandmother emigrated to the U.S. as a young girl in 1912 from Russian-occupied Poland. That was one of her few prejudices, she had no love for Russia.

When I first got into nursing, I made friends with a lot of the older nurses who served in WWII, Africa mostly. One wonderful Polish woman had the best stories, not necessarily happy ones, but god love her!! She hated the Russians as well.

My grandfather was also a Polish immigrant, arrived in the U.S. as a young man - he was made a citizen and sent to France to fight for his new country in WWI. Unfortunately, he died before I was born. But he did see my mother, his elder daughter, get accepted to college on a full scholarship, she was smart. She said he cried...
