happened. Lots of what he suggests the west does, the west is doing.

As a long time board and video gamer, I can appreciate his take on this. Its all about the macro-spending and policy.

(23,222 posts)3. Arthur C. Clarke (my favorite author) wrote a story titled "Superiority"
that should be required reading at all military academies. It was about an interplanetary war between two worlds, one of which had highly superior science. That world LOST the war because their scientists kept coming up with "brilliant" weapons which in the end bogged them down and inhibited their ability to conduct the battles.Superbly done, and quite sobering to contemplate!
