Prosecutor's Resignation Letter Insists Trump Is Guilty Of Multiple Felonies: NYT

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/23/nyregion/mark-pomerantz-resignation-letter.html

I had very little faith Trump would or will ever pay for any of his crimes. The justice system is too corrupted in favour of the oligarch class. But its still sad to watch it happen in real time. I wonder if Alvin Bragg is truly paid off, or threatened, or is just too afraid to take it on such a high profile case.

the investigation is now "postponed indefinitely".

Words from the resignation transcript,

"Whatever the risks of bringing the case may be, I am convinced that a failure to prosecute will post much greater risk in terms of public confidence in the fair administration of justice"

It's the rotten state of the state. And, like, rich and untouchable people got a stake in this too, you know?

his crimes, at least answer to them in a court of law, faced by his peers and/or judges. Why didn't they do this at least, throw it up for trial? Bragg is going down as the idiot that allowed this, and especially when viewed in context of his arriving on the scene literally just months before (not very long) and then making a snap judgement on the work products (I doubt he even looked at seriously) and stopped it all. Smacks and sounds like to me that someone got paid off under the table or threatened.
