When I was a kid, my Dad was clearing out his dresser and he handed me 2 campaign buttons - 1 was "I Like Ike" and the other was "Kennedy-Johnson" with a photo! - rather than tossing them away. Of course nobody ever thought of saving those kind of things back in the day - and I think I know where I put them if I ever get the chance to look.
