We thought we were out of the woods when we finally escaped TFG, but he has altered this country in so many ways, he gave the worst of the worst permission to express their hatred - as he did, he empowered our adversaries and alienated our allies, and he rolled back countless safety precautions and environmental protections that should have been enacted long ago. Obama worked hard to implement a lot of them, but he was also dealing with McConnell, the Obstructer in Chief.
President Biden has done an amazing amount in an incredibly short time, but he's also had to deal with a global pandemic that was ignored and allowed to run rampant for over a year, a TRG inspired attempt to overturn a national election and the government - and many of the insurrectionists still hold public office - and now he's being called on to lead in a global effort to head off a third World War. That's a hell of a lot in a little over a year. I don't know how he sleeps at night, but he's stepped up to the plate so the rest of us can.
