As I was saying earlier, I know that the U.S. is committed to admitting 100,000 Ukrainian refugees, we certainly could accommodate many more if they had a program of U.S. cities and towns allowed to sponsor Ukrainian families. With the support Ukraine is getting all across the country, I think that would be one way for Americans to really help - and I know that it would be popular here in New York and my grandmother's town in NC already has a sister town in the Caucasus Mountains - I went there with my grandmother and her peace group back in the '80s to visit them. 
And no one is as hospitable as the Irish. I've been there twice, it's a beautiful country with such friendly people and I hated to leave. Not to mention that it's also my heritage - my great grandparents came to New York from Ireland...
