fail according to his reality, even if in actuality he fails (see the Ukraine war). Even if it's not over, it's still on going for over a month instead of the three days Putin expected.

She's warning that he's a dangerous megalomaniacal, dangerous psychotic...and she's right. What's scary is he might see going to nukes as a way of winning. That's of course cray-cray to most sentient beings but Putin's probably got a bunker five stories down beneath concrete and rebar storied with all the vodka, food and caviar he and his entourage will need for months.

Then he'll emerge, victorious and say, "okay, let's clean this mess up. I'm still in charge. Fuck NATO."

He could go nuclear, chemical, which he already has with the white phosphorous, or he could blow up more satellites.
