I grew up up under the thumb of the rottenest realm of Jesse Helms and his soulless domain
He advocated putting a fence around where I live and calling it the state zoo
I moved there in the 70s believing it would hold me safe and keep his ilk OUT
So far it has, I live in a blue enclave and relish the peace it brings ✌🏻
Fuck republicans
I hope they crash and burn and will kick dirt on their graves and piss on the grass that attempts to cover them

His tough stance with Gorbachev actually caused him to pull back on his more progressive policies, Glasnost and Perestroika, openness and transparency, which gave the Russian people hope. However, now that they have a leader who is arguably worse than Stalin, the Republicans (led by TFG) somehow think he's "a genius!" This truly defies belief by anyone who's still sane!
