Ukrainian drone brigade claims to have stopped 40-mile column of Russian tanks

Just a one minute clip, but some substantial news about the "40 mile convoy" and why it was stalled.

Footage posted on social media by the Ukrainian air reconnaissance unit, Aerorozvidka, purports to show its attacks on a 40-mile long column of Russian armoured vehicles outside Kyiv.

1. I am going to whine over terminology

It is NOT a 40 mile long column of tanks. It is a 40 mile long column of mixed vehicles that most likely includes some tanks. Everything that moves in a convoy is not a "tank" not everything that moves on tracks is a "tank and not everything that moves on tracks and has a gun protruding is a "tank." The difference is like calling a Kia Rio an 18 wheeler; it is just wrong.

2. I used the quotes for a reason, and it certainly wasn't 40 miles long, it was

spread out over 40 miles of highway. All in all, the reporting was and remains nebulous and the satellite images released were only a few locations in relation to the entire route.

It is good to get some more information clarifying why they were stalled and bunched up.
