(4,344 posts)Being a strong leader? Would they rather have tRump back? Yeah, let's give away Ukraine, all of Europe and let's say half of America with Canada and Mexico for good measure. Gee, maybe tRump will be able to negotiation Greenland for us then.
Whoever is pushing this "backlash" and fake outrage needs to shut the F up! We have a strong President who is part of the Democratic Party and the repubs get irritable bowel. President Biden is what a real American President looks like.

(204,698 posts)With all that's confronting the president right now, not to mention the horrific mess he was faced with from fools and grifters that did nothing for four years, I think he's been doing a superb job. I know that he had presidential hopes in the past, but with 30+ years in the Senate and 8 years in the Executive Branch, he's the most experienced POTUS in our history - and he is the leader we need for this perilous time.

(204,698 posts)And what's more mind-boggling is that this was "the party of Reagan" who was extremely tough on Gorbachev who was instituting more progressive policies which gave the people hope, but Reagan's uncompromising negotiations caused the Russian hard liners to force Gorbachev to cut back on those policies. Reagan was not popular there...
