Do we start "mending fences" while Vladimir regroups against Ukraine and us?

Do we keep sanctions and military supplies to Ukraine going until Russian generals announce Vladimir's "early retirement"?

Obviously, Putin thought this invasion would be "easy," now he's backed into a corner, he's losing and even some of his closest associates are turning against him. I have no idea how this will turn out, but we know that Putin is guilty of war crimes. Is The Hague in his future instead?
