(1,962 posts)They've never liked LGBTQ's. And hatred and bigotry toward us has very much been a cornerstone of the QOP since Noot's Contract ON America in 1994.. But they've sure gotten meaner, and more hateful, and more willing to use their powder to terrorize us.

(205,664 posts)So they feel empowered to act out while they can. They basically hate anyone who isn't "them." And, yes, they've been working on this for a long time, but TFG let them know that hate and bigotry are "okay."

(1,962 posts)"Drumpf's president now! We don't have to be afraid anymore!" Afraid of what? Afraid of people seeing they're bigots. Afraid of targeting and terrorizing the minorities. Afraid of blaring their hate at 125 dB.
Had he won in 2020, this would be happening, because his re-election would be seen as a mandate.
Since he lost, they're now doing this as payback for "stealing" the election.
