Capitalism.....As told by the Father of Capitalism, Adam Smith and his book The Wealth of Nations. He said REGULATIONs are needed to "prevent" monopolies that would end the fairness of the system.
Then along came Neo-Liberal economics that ditched that part of true capitalism.
All of those examples, like Cuba, Iran and others, take a look at what the revolutions in those countries were a result of. Cuba was run by Big Sugar and the Mob. A popular Democratic leader in Iran was replaced by Exon and BP with the brutal dictator the Shah and that brought about the Revolution. No one to blame but the Neo-Liberals and what they brought about. Then the work of the University of Chicago School of Economics that brought Fascism to Central and South America.
Teddy Roosevelt tried and almost did it by Busting the Trust.
