Don't think any of that applies to this shooter. But who know? Hoyt Apr 2022 #5

And we're still dealing with the fallout and repercussions from that time, a million dead of Covid, others still living with after effects, not to mention dealing with the anti-American policies of exclusion, bigotry and hate - and then came January 6th.

reason to start shooting up people.

And people wonder why I'm fully supportive of confiscating all guns. After all, how many people died from reading a "controversial" book?

Pulling a gun and shooting tends to clear the area around you, quite quickly.

Some people shouldn't have guns - actually, no one except police or military should have guns.
And even some of the police I have serious doubts about.

And I couldn't agree more with you about the only two groups who should be allowed guns. They are the only groups who would have a reason to "need" a gun, law enforcement and fighting a war. And, even then, there are abuses. Those who do not "need," nor should ever have a gun, are those with no training, those who believe it's acceptable to carry a lethal weapon around in public - and especially those with "grievances."
