along with Yeltsin before him, allowing all the loot from the export of natural resources to be invested in real estate outside Russia, not a dime of it going to projects inside the country. The corruption has been so massive it has now become ingrained at every level and is one reason the military has performed so poorly, everybody cutting all sorts of corners on training and equipment so they can pocket the extra rubles.

I'm not surprised that young and educated Russians unencumbered by children are getting out fast.

If TFG had gotten a second term, we'd be seeing the same thing here.
