The United States news (propaganda) agencies just won't ever report on him, NOR will they lay out all the good things Obama has done.

I want a revolution to take the air waves away from the FCC-licensed "entertainment" news companies, and install some news agencies with integrity. CURRENT is at least reporting with FACTS.

What "servers" are they talking about? The election ones in individual states?

When Karl was in the WH serving Lord Fauntleroy, his crew used their own laptops and Yahoo mail--like the terrorists used to do.

Hell, the terrorists would write a draft message, and save it, not send it, and the person they were sending the message to would log into the same account, read the saved message, and then delete it. Very clever. No transmission.

From an artful perspective, the musical riff at the beginning/end of this piece is overly melodramatic. The Stephen Hawking voice isn't cutting it, either. Notice how they always use a male voice to convey their dire ire?

When will they start being a bit creative? The model was an attention-getter initially, but now it is getting stale.

I am not getting "petty" when I offer my analysis of that video. I'm being realistic.

You don't seriously think I am, or anyone else who finds that video a bit lame, is in favor of keeping elections DISHONEST, do you? Come on.

I am all for free, fair and OPEN elections. Some clown in a mask bobbing his head and waving his arms while a computerized voice makes vague threats doesn't seem very open to me. It wasn't even clear what he was suggesting. Again, are they claiming to be hacked into election servers? Rove's PAC servers? Which servers?

Is he hacking their little smartphones and intercepting their communications? Tapping their landlines?

It's just a load of tripe, that video. "You'd better behave, or the Boogieman is gonna gitcha."

Poll watchers. We need more poll watchers. That's a start.

New court filing reveals how the 2004 Ohio presidential election was hacked

by Bob Fitrakis
July 20, 2011

A new filing in the King Lincoln Bronzeville v. Blackwell case includes a copy of the Ohio Secretary of State election production system configuration that was in use in Ohio's 2004 presidential election when there was a sudden and unexpected shift in votes for George W. Bush.

The filing also includes the revealing deposition of the late Michael Connell. Connell served as the IT guru for the Bush family and Karl Rove. Connell ran the private IT firm GovTech that created the controversial system that transferred Ohio's vote count late on election night 2004 to a partisan Republican server site in Chattanooga, Tennessee owned by SmarTech. That is when the vote shift happened, not predicted by the exit polls, that led to Bush's unexpected victory. Connell died a month and a half after giving this deposition in a suspicious small plane crash.

Additionally, the filing contains the contract signed between then-Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell and Connell's company, GovTech Solutions. Also included that contract a graphic architectural map of the Secretary of State's election night server layout system.

Link: http://www.freepress.org/departments/display/19/2011/4239

I hope they are able to prevent a repeat of the 2004 Ohio vote theft.

We've known for years about this. All of the evidence has been there for anyone who cared to look. The media in this country is looking the other way. They refuse to cover this. Likewise the Justice Department does nothing. The institutions which should check this activity have been brought to heel.

If Anonymous gets the goods, good luck finding someone who'll do something about it.

happened to Michael Connell, right? I don't know if we could find someone brave enough to put their lives on the line for democracy.

And of course 85% of the MSM is owned by 5 ugly, rich white boyz who own the corporate slaves that work for them.

Maybe Anonymous' Hackers can beat the KKKarl Hackers. Ever since these voting machines have come to use, we'll really never KNOW who 'won.' Paper and pencil is so much cheaper and accurate.

Hell, for all I know, TPTB have already determined who the 'winner' is going to be. Sometimes I think I'm just watching Kabuki Theater. It's all Bread and Circus....and this Circus (since I live in OH) is really getting on my last nerve.

Last I wonder if Sandy will delay the election if there is no electricity in many states such as NJ, DE, VA, etc.

We had a storm this summer in Ohio and I had no electricity for 9 days. The Ohio Valley could have winds to 50 mph. I guess we'll just have to see what Mother Nature decides to do. It sure would be nice to see Gov. Christie 'floating' (if that's possible) in a wave surge. I still expect him to explode one of these days....his skin looks like it has reached its limits to stretch. Just an observation.

And if I were poor and living in NJ, I'd get on the first bus heading southwest....do you think Christie gives a sh*t about them? You just can't count on the gov't to help....we saw that with Katrina.

I wish the best to those who poor, working poor and the former middle class. I want them to be safe and help each other. The rich are on their own.

I just think that, since these issues are so serious, that a slightly more adult perspective is called for.

I know I'm not going to get my wish. I find the whole concept of hacking people that they don't like, from behind a cloak of anonymity, a bit distasteful, to put it mildly.

Imagine if a bunch of GOP blowhards in Bozo The Clown masks were doing the same thing, citing 'transparency' as their excuse. We'd not like it one bit. I do realize that they cheat and we don't, but I'd rather find a whistleblower inside their outfit to take them out, or insert an operative into their ranks, rather than hack into their sites, breaking the law, to get information.

Of course, that's just my opinion, and we know what opinions are like!

I agree about the melodrama. I just see it as being a cynical take on the "daily news" talking heads format.

Hacking is a crime and could definitely be considered cheating in my book. If you are going to do it and don't want to get caught, anonymity is your best bet.

I think part of the goal of the message is just to cause roVer and his cronies to be looking over their shoulders. For all we know, Anonymous DOES have someone inside their organization.

Your opinion is certainly legitimate. Maybe they will take it under advisement.

So, what's this with you? ... The electronic voice has to be "unisex?" Or, what?

Your logic doesn't convince me that this is anything more than Anon's consistent message. All along, the entity calling itself "Anonymous" has worked toward the same outcome to enable information such as WikiLeaks and every other hero disclosing what the uber-fascists in this country have been trying accomplish. False flags, fear mongering, manipulation of the military, stealing from everything that flows fossil fuels, and pitting the 99% against itself.

The real power behind the 1% and their goal... Money... Message ... Minds follow all the steps of American fascism you and I should have been witnessing. What the fuck do you think this country is in the middle of now? I'd say the 2012 elections will complete much of this goal of fascism. Never thought I'd say that, but it's evident.

I have no problem with the Anon message at all. I don't believe this has truthfully been a "close election". While, I know a lot of Americans have been dumbed down, I didn't think polling on Rmoney has been realistic, and I DO think the elections to follow would be based on that manipulation. It's a perfect storm.

The REAL surprise of this election is how it should ALMOST be rigged the way Rove, et al intended... but for the heroes.

And... this regime that has been stedfast in that fascist goal... they should be prosecuted to the FULL EXTENT of the law for those real crimes to come. Rove should have a private cell, for he is a very special guy.

It's also hackneyed. It's like last year's fad. Worn out, old, ho-hum. They aren't winning my mind with this nonsense. The message is lame and silly. They won't get a dime of my money. The GOP won't either. I'll give my money to the Dems, I'll listen to their message.

I'm betting Rove isn't communicating via "servers" that can be hacked. And if they're talking about hacking election servers, what's to stop them from throwing the election themselves and then claiming someone else did it?

You don't fight fascism with fascism. Nor do you fight cheating with cheating. As I said elsewhere, they'd be better off trying to persuade a whistleblower to go public.

The masks, the drama--it's all terribly adolescent and unserious. And these are serious times. If they want to persist with silly images, they'd probably get more support if they had a cute little talking kitten delivering their spiel. Or a puppy. Who doesn't like baby animals? At least it would be more amusing to look at than that tired old Warner Brothers Trademarked mask.

I will agree that Rove is a crook. I will aso agree that I don't think this has been a close election. We'll have to see the outcome to know. I think there have been efforts to rig public opinion by the GOP, and the corporate media has abetted them, but I don't know how successful they have been.

We'll know in just over a week how smart the American public actually is.

So let’s say we wake to the nightmare of an apparent Romney victory, and Anonymous gets the goods. Now what? Is the Justice Department going to act on information provided by Anonymous? I don’t think so. Will the media give any weight to Anonymous allegations. Nope. So once again we’re going to have an unelected president, doing awful things, and a good chunk of the electorate will know he’s illegitimate.

The understanding that our elections are no longer legitimate has to become mainstream. You're going to have to circumvent the government, the mainstream media and most of the criminal justice system to achieve that.

I like Obama, a lot. But I think, just as Al Gore did, he'll fold his hand rather than fight this fight. Al I don't blame so much, he didn't want to put the country through it. Kerry I blame, he should have seen it coming and he should have had an army of lawyers and trained observers on the ground in Ohio. He folded. Obama wants to be the uniter. I also think he tends to tread too lightly sometimes because he's our first black president and he is concerned about overtly agitating the racist elements in the country. I just don't think he'll fight this fight. I hope I'm wrong.

Well, great news folks, ALICE will soon arrive! The American Legislative and Issues Campaign Exchange (or ALICE) is not just a clever play on ALEC's name, but an effective counter to its agenda and methods. Originated by Joel Rogers – one of progressive America's most-creative thinkers and doers – ALICE will offer a one-stop, web-based, public library of about 1,000 model laws on a wide range of policy issues, complete with in-depth background materials. It's a nationwide, cooperative effort that already has enlisted a couple of hundred professors, policy experts, students, lawyers, and others who're volunteering their brains, energy, and time to assemble a first-rate, easily-accessible library open to all lawmakers, mayors, grassroots groups, media, and… well, everyone.

Between Karl Rove aspiring to cheat, Romney flip flopping, right wing nuts on rape being God's will, voter fraud issues in OHIO... I have but two words for today's GOP: C'mon Son!!

Check out this fuuuuuny parody of Eminem's The Real Slim Shady (The Real Mitt Romney). It is only 3 days new, and factually accurate. Highly entertaining.

If its an honest win, (which I would still doubt) ok its honest. But if Rove cheated--BURN HIS ASS.

With all of the horrible stuff in this country, sometimes you are the only thing that gives me hope that we would be completely totalitarian in my lifetime.
Every time I hear about anonymous, I always think of some of the most interesting characters in TV and the movies. I think about the appliance repair guy in Brazil, or Blank Reg in Max Headroom.
I'd be a hacker, but barely know how to install and uninstall software.
