I cannot believe how many times he's trapped himself in a corner. Of course, he can always come back and say he never said that. He has a whole closet full of those instances.
Sandy sounds terrible for the New York area. I hope they are exaggerating to get people to move out and be safe.

(53,661 posts)There to make sure people don't die from this. A 10-foot storm surge is expected to hit Connecticut. Naturally, this will be effecting all those places on the water. And cold temperatures with snow possible, mixing with the storm, is a serious matter.
This sounds very much like the hurricane a friend said happened in the thirties in that area in November. She and her husband were on their way from Massachuetts to Florida. She said NYC flooded, they had a terrible time traveling.
Here's hoping they are exaggerating, too. But 'Better safe than sorry.' I'm hoping this won't affect turnout as much as some have reported it might.
