1. I still think Alito is arrogant enough to have had one of his own clerks

deliver it to a GOP website (Politico) because OF COURSE he's convinced that citing woman hating churchmen from the time of the Black Death and the witch hunts would impress everybody out there with the clarity of his historical vision and the impeccability of his legal reasoning and OF COURSE all the other justices, including the so called liberals, would be forced to follow him.

Any liberal law clerk would have leaked it to the NYT or WaPo or MSNBC, not Politico.

I suppose that sack of shit and his cohorts all think this is going to die down by next month.

Nope, I see this as escalating. Civil disobedience is going to be massive. Stripping such a basic right from half the population is going to come at a cost, a very steep cost.
